Fascination of Plants Day

18 May is Fascination of Plants Day, a celebration of the diversity of plant life on Earth and a bid to raise awareness about how they are central to our survival. It is observed by 52 countries around the world, with science events organized either on this day, or over the weekend closest to this day.

This year, I wrote a microblog for TheSTEMTimes about how beautiful even the tiniest plants are, and how scientists capture this beauty when they are trying to build models about how plants grow. Check it out here.
